Just last month, the Canadian ISED quietly dropped a bombshell – IC ID registration fees are going up again! This 1.7% increase may seem small, but it adds up.


What exactly does this fee cover?


ISED certification is a mandatory market access requirement for wireless radio frequency products and telecommunications terminal products in the Canadian market. In other words, IC ID certification is a necessary hurdle for products to legally enter the Canadian market.


This price adjustment follows a 2.7% increase in April 2025. ISED is determined to follow the global trend of rising certification fees.
