The difference between China's energy efficiency label and China's energy conservation label
The difference between China's energy efficiency label and China's energy conservation label:
China's energy efficiency label is mandatory, while China's energy conservation label is voluntary.
The China energy efficiency label, also known as the energy efficiency rating label, is an information label affixed to energy-consuming products or their smallest packaging, indicating the product's energy efficiency level and other performance indicators. Its purpose is to provide necessary information for users and consumers' purchasing decisions, guiding and helping consumers choose high-efficiency, energy-saving products.
More than 100 countries worldwide have implemented energy efficiency labeling systems. The label is a color-coded label with a blue and white background, divided into five levels: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Level 1 indicates that the product reaches international advanced levels and is the most energy-efficient (lowest energy consumption); Level 2 indicates relatively energy-efficient; Level 3 indicates that the product's energy efficiency is at the average level of the Chinese market; Level 4 indicates that the product's energy efficiency is below the market average; Level 5 is a market access indicator, and products below this level are not allowed to be produced or sold. The energy efficiency label is a colored label with an adhesive back and the words "CHINA ENERGY LABEL" on the top. It is usually affixed to the front panel of the product.
Certification Process
1. Sample Testing: Samples need to be sent to a qualified laboratory for testing and a contractual report (5-7 business days).
2. Registration: An account needs to be registered first. A qualified energy efficiency report needs to be submitted to the system, and relevant information needs to be filled in for registration. (Account registration: 5 business days + registration: 1 business day)
