The export of wireless earphones to Japan requires METI registration (registration with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan), which is a mandatory requirement under the Electrical Equipment and Materials Control Act and applies to products that have obtained PSE certification. The METI audit cycle is usually 5-10 working days, and a filing certificate will be issued after approval

Subsequent requirements

Label the importer's name/ID and filing information on the product or packaging
